While visiting someplace new, it will be nice, even necessary to learn a little bit about the place’s culture. As Bali is a place where culture and art meets, it will be a good moment for your kids to learn something that they can bring home with them. Either it is a new knowledge, or even new souvenirs they made by their own hand. Here are some activity recommendations that will be perfect to spend the day at with your kids and whole family :

Studio Perak is a creative, fun and relaxed space that has been listed in the Lonely Planet travel guide as having a “friendly atmosphere and specializing in Balinese silver smithing”. Create some beautiful jewelry or little trinkets to take home with you during a half day silversmithing experiential course. During this 3 hours course, you can expect to create a silver ring or pendant of your very own design. Learn the basic skills of silversmithing, from cutting, beating, shaping, soldering and then polishing the finished silver product. They will ask the children joining to be at least 8 years old. Classes are held in English, so children must have a basic understanding of English in order to participate.
